A Word from the Founder
Hello, My name is Gary Stradley and I started a Company called TriPhase Floors in May of 1980. For over 26 years, we have enjoyed many different facets in the floor covering industry, including researching new products, custom floor & wall designs, back-splashes, and showers. I have always worked off the principles that every customer deserves the same amount of attention, no matter what their budget is.
We started using natural stone products and high-end porcelain tile around 1999. As a result, I have found that my true passion in designing projects from “Good Old Mother Earth” has given our company and myself a lot more pride, and satisfaction in the jobs our technicians are completing. I can also see this in our customer’s faces. The referrals from them have always made up the bulk of our advertisements.
In 2003, I decided to build a steam shower in our home. I was not sure if I needed to do anything special, so I decided to do some research. I knew that when my wife Lori, my son Broc and I built our home, it took a year to complete and I absolutely did not want to take any chances of having mold or mildew issues arise out of a hot moist air environment. After all of our hard work, time and money, we were not looking for the quickest or least expensive way to build a steam shower. We were looking for the best way! This is when I decided to contact Protile systems in the United States. The Protile representative answered all my questions and concerns, plus additional items that I was currently unaware of. The quarter century of resource development for the company’s Protile shower systems was very impressive. I know that our family’s investment is protected and we can enjoy all the therapeutic benefits of our own steam shower – with no worries!
Since that day, Custom Shower & Steam has helped many customers achieve the same goal. My greatest passion is my family; next in line is my desire to help customer’s design and build their own custom steam showers. It is extremely rewarding to see the satisfaction on their faces at the projects end – and for many years to come.
